This event will feature youth teams that will wear the colors of Minor League Baseball organizations from around the United States. This event is capped at 80 teams total for all divisions and the tournament has a 6-game guarantee. Each event will feature four age divisions from 9U to 14U, Underclass (15U & 16U) & Upperclass (17U & 18U). Check-in is Sunday at 4PM and check out is Friday at 10am or within one hour of their last game, whichever is later.
Sunday evening, following check-in, athletes will be treated to their special event at Universal Studios Orlando CityWalk for the opening ceremonies where each team and player will be individually recognized for their attendance. Transportation to Universal Studios Orlando CityWalk shall be provided by each player’s parent or guardian.
Participants will have the honor of wearing the uniforms of the Minor-League organization they are playing under. This is an honor to participate in this tournament.
While attending the event players will enjoy unique one-of-a-kind features throughout the facility, such as scheduled access to our 35,000 square-foot training facility. Our training facility features 14 indoor batting cages with seven ProBatter Video Pitching Simulators, including the ProBatter PX2 Baseball Video Simulator, the premier video pitching simulator in the world for baseball. Operated by a touch screen controller and containing a video of an actual pitcher, it delivers Major League-quality pitches thrown to multiple positions both within and outside the strike zone at speeds between 40 and 100 MPH. It throws virtually any pitch that a pitcher can throw, including rising fastballs, sinkers, cutters, split-finger fastballs, curves, sliders and changeups which permit a hitter to simulate game-like conditions in a batting cage. The simulator can be manually operated or programmed to deliver a specific pre-selected sequence of pitches. Also, all athletes will have scheduled use of our 110-station weight room which features cable weights, free weights, treadmills, steppers, climbers, the crossover symmetry system, etc.
In addition, players will enjoy the onsite player hotel which features two arcades that contain 10 pool tables and ping pong tables, electronic games and video games. The Player Hotel is furnished in porcelain and marble throughout the hotel and the sleeping quarters have 50” big screens in all rooms. These spacious rooms provide the ultimate in team bonding and camaraderie building that is unsurpassed and cannot be achieved at other facilities. The player hotel also contains our recreation hall which features big screen televisions around the perimeter of the Rec Hall and a 12-foot TV wall. Coastal Florida also offers onsite coin laundry or fee-based commercial laundry service.
Prior to and throughout the duration of the event, Coastal Florida adheres to a strict protocol policy of a single point of contact. No parent/friend/relative will be acknowledged or allowed to communicate with the staff on any issues related to the tournament/event. This protocol is always strictly enforced. Any violation of this rule is grounds for immediate removal from the property and/or criminal trespass issued by the local law enforcement.
In addition, Coastal Florida is a zero-tolerance facility where all rules, regulations and player/coach/spectator/visitor etiquette at the facility are strictly enforced and failure to abide by these rules and regulations will dealt with in the same manner as above.
